our Story

Show My Your Junk is owned by two Baltimore locals, Duane Giesler Jr. and Tyler Zollars. Duane and Tyler met working as longshoremen at the Port of Baltimore. They both had been working there for over six years when tragedy struck on March 26, 2024. The Francis Scott Key bridge was hit by a cargo ship leaving the port operations shut down for months. Duane and Tyler went from having a steady job to not being able to work.

Duane and Tyler had always talked about starting businesses together while working at the port but never took the risk since they had steady jobs. With the collapse of the Key Bridge, work at the port was not going to be the same for a long time. They started brainstorming what they could possibly do. Junk removal was something they both had experience in. They pooled their savings, bought a box truck, bought tools, and started Show Me Your Junk!

So here we are today, two longshoremen uncertain when work will return to full capacity at the Port of Baltimore. We do know one thing though; Show Me Your Junk is here to stay and prepared to take care of all your junk removal needs!
